Montgomery's Meats was established in 2009 In Weed Ca. We Expanded and purchased Jerry's Custom Meat Processing in Central Point OR in 2014. We now offer the best Full Custom Meat Processing, Retail Meats, in house made jerky and sticks at our Central Point location and Custom Processing, In House Smoking and Mobile slaughter at our Weed Ca. Our Central Point Oregon Store offers a full-service fresh meat counter, in house made Jerky, sticks and summer sausages. Both stores offer Full Custom Meat Processing cut and wrap of your harvested animals offering in house smoking and further processing. Our Weed Ca store also offers a Mobile slaughter unit to come harvest your animals and bring them in for cut and wrap.
Feature All-Natural Local Prather Ranch Beef
We Pride ourselves that our whole Beef selection in our retail meat counter in Central point is locally sourced from Prather Ranch Meats in Macdoel Ca. The Prather Ranch has a rich and extensive history, one whose roots begin in Macdoel, California just 40 miles south of Klamath Falls, Oregon. The ranch is named after the original owners, the Prather Family, who established the ranch in the 1800's as a cattle and horse operation. The cattle are grazed on pastures in five Northern California counties. Other components of the ranch include a large, irrigated hay ranch, a hunting club, timber production, a young sire testing program and pharmaceutical-grade bovine raw materials. Bovine raw materials include hides used for pharmaceutical-grade collagen, bovine bones, pericardium, and tendons used for human replacement parts. Other bovine raw materials are used for medical research and dietary supplements. By utilizing as many parts of the animal as possible, we believe we are being sustainable and respectful of each animal's life.
